What is the min safe thickness of your pads before you need to change them?

Make sure you check all over - they sometimes can have a 1mm difference between leading and trailing edge wear. I usually have a spare set I buy when on special and keep in the shed. Always going to have to do them sometime.

So 3 or 4 mm still ok?

Hard to say. Depending on pad compund and how fast they wear. Id just buy some new pads for spare and keep an eye on them if you want to get the most out of the pads.

Cheers. Mate They are a hard compound. So I'll keep monitoring.

They are cheap enough to change unless your ABS

There is a return on the end of the mounting plate that is designed to hit the disk and make a horrible noise when your pads are low way before they run out but enough that you want to get on it ASAP.
