Hi guys, Just thought this site might be of interest to some people out there. It has a heap of historical photos of Tasmania including Port Arthur when it still was operational over 100 years ago. You can also purchase any of the photos from the site. I have purchased several from here and the bloke was very professional as well as fast postage as well. It is well worth a look.

This will be of great interest for me. My mother loved Tassie, and hence my loving of it. Sadly she isn't with me anymore, but I still love the place and its history. Thanks for sharing.

I love our history sadly its not as far back like the UK,

I was humbled when I was in the UK. To stand in a spot where 800yrs ago, King/Queen such and such lived, just blew me away. Considering how far we have come since the Industrial Revolution, I still can't understand, why it took so long to Map Australia . . . Still, there is no place like home :)
