Forum shutdown tomorrow (30th july) 10am

The forum is finally moving servers and the only way to do this is to shut it down for a bit.

Tomorrow morning (30th July) from 10am to approximately 2pm the forum will not be accessible.

I have closed down my Pc and when started cleared all History using Vipre and have no Gaps in Posts other than Threedogs stopped posting at 3.49pm

My phone cannot access forum on wifi but my desktop can.

That doesnt make sense.

Is there any way you can know if your provider is accessing the new DNS. Not a DNS look up because the DNS lookups references the new server but how do you know if your desktop or phone is actually referencing the new DNS???

It's not working, some people can see this some people cant when their DNS updates.

I have just changed us back to the old server for now.

Yeah I think you and I right now are accessing the old server right now.

The new server is not working for some reason and Ill get the I.T guru to look at it tomorrow.

I have just changed it back to the old server and some people right now cannot access the site if their are looking at the new server.

Good news is no data is lost.

Our I.T guy has moved to another company and is no longer here.

It's now passed on to another company who is working on it Bob.

We're still paying double rent so it's killing us at the moment!!!
