Factory Cruise Control

Does anyone know how much it would cost to get factory cruise fitted to a GU? Has anyone fitted aftermarket cruise they are happy with?

We were told from the Nissan dealer where we bought the car that a lot has to be changed to fit the geunine cruise control and its expensive.

They recommended Liteon.....Its c**p.

Havent used it much as when we travel its usually with the camper on but having said that the last time I did use it on going over a train overpass there was a loud snap then it would'nt work again.

Turned out the cable had snapped. Luckly for us it was fixed under warranty.

Autron cruise controls for GUs don't have cables. They are not cable operated. They are fly by wire and plug into your existing throttle set up.

Autron is the way to go for aftermarket. They also look almost the same as factory fitted cruise.
