Replacing the Turbo

Hey guys, would anyone be able give me some info on replacing the turbo. Im thinking of going the 2871 because I've been told I should be able to push it better due to having the gas injection. Im not extremely technically minded so any info would be great. What will I need to swap this over apart from the turbo, adapter plate and new dump pipe? how hard is it to do yourself? I have fitted my front mount intercooler and have done everything else on the truck, but nothing really to do with the motor. Any information or comments is welcome. Thanks

G/day mate it would help a lot if you could give us more info on your engine type & what model Patrol you have?

I've not done this myself but Andy (Admin) & myself will be happy to help you research the information you require.

Haha sorry guys, in the other forum ive got all my vehicle details and mods in my signature. Car is 99 GU wagon 4.td with factory turbo, front mount intercooler, 3 inch exhaust and gas injection.
