My 2003 Nissan Patrol ZD30DDTi - from Panama

Hi guys,

Just registered to the forum and find it very informative and entertaining.
As I posted in my introduction, my ride is a 2003 Nissan Patrol Y61, with the ZD30DDTi engine, rebuilt on november last year.... I´ve owned it since March 08, so its been three years with my Patrol, and about 7 months without it after it went bang!
After the rebuild we have installed a couple of goodies:
Pyro and Boost Gauges
OME 2" Lift
Maxxis Bighorns (305/70/R16)
Snorkel
CB radio and antenna

Well that´s it at the moment, I have not been able to go off roading after installing the lift but look forwards to doing so soon and posting some pics.

The next project will be a bull bar and winch!

I´m real glad you liked the pics! Here in Panama we have mostly tropical rainforests and beaches, and eventhough we have a small country, there are still some spots with magnificent trails and views!
Hope to go soon on another trip and post some more pics of my country.

Thanks mates! That video was from November, and it was rainy season then, so the trail was fun! Now we are in summer and most trails are real dry, anyhow they are still fun! Next Sunday I will be helping a church that makes donations to towns with difficult access, hopefully we can enjoy off roading while doing a good action, which for me is a perfect combination.... My copilot is a great photographer hope he takes some nice shots

Well, i got stuck once and another car helped pulled me with a strap, nothing serious...
I leave you with some pics of last Sunday´s trip to a community called Santa Rosa, where we were invited to take some donations to three schools... It was relatively easy trail, very dry, but it should be more fun in rainy season, hope that by then I have the winch... The most important is that the kids were happy with our visit...

Just wanted to post some pics of some trips I have taken my beloved trol with some cousins, the first shots are in Cerro Azul, we went to a family trip with our good friend Carlos´ Pathy (TD42) and the others is another little trip with another friends TD42 in Rio Gatun in my native province of Colón...
Those days were pretty dry (Rainy season should start May) so the trail was not muddy... Hope to post some pics with a lilttle of mud!

Thanks mates! You are right Patrols are the best no matter where we are. Australia is reknowned as the Mecca for Patrols and Offroading, and your knowledge and experience with these amazing vehicles has helped Patrol owners worldwide, keep up with the good work and showing the world how great Patrols are!
