We will be leaving Darwin mid May heading back to the Gold Coast. The good lady wants to go via Alice Springs. I hate driving 1000kms down a road to go some where, then back the same way.
Has any one travelled the Donohue Highway. If we went this way the old patrol would be packed full of our gear, and towing 4.5m boat we the rest of our gear in it.
We would welcome any advice
