Hey folks, just thought I'd share a few pics from our camping trip to Jurien Bay & Stockyard caves, an underground river that is dry in summer. The fishing is bloody great. I'm useless with a rod so I figured I'd jump in with a snorkel to see what I could be catching if I was better at it. It's teaming with fish. It was a little cold for me even with a wetsuit on but next time I'll take the underwater camera with me & get some awesome pics. Anyway, here's what was happening on dry land......

2 days just wasn't enough to really explore & enjoy this beautiful place to the fullest. I can't wait to go there again.

What a dead-set beautiful part of the world. I love scenery like that. Shame nothing like that in Victoria.
Looked like an awesome trip.

Thanks for sharing Sharky. Looks like we missed a lot when we were at Jurien Bay. Always the way. Ah well, it’s good to have reason to head back there again one day.

Those caves look awesome, nice little bat too. Looks like a ripper trip, some pretty beautiful places to explore in your neck of the woods, will have to get back over that way some day.

Thank you all for your kind words & I'm glad you like the pics. I'm sorry I didn't get any underwater shots. The reefs were beautiful but with the presence of sharks, I had to have my wits about me the whole time so wasn't brave enough to take the camera in with me. We're going back there soon & hopefully there'll be more than 2 of us in the water so I'll be able to get some shots in.

more people means less chance of being eaten, hope the shark will pick someone else lol.
