central locking solenoids

Hi all, having an issue with the left rear door on my 02 GU 3.2 ST it locks but does not unlock (in fact its making a hell of a noise when trying to unlock) first up anyone else had this problem? and are the solenoids repairable or is it cheaper to get a new one??

You could pull the solenoid apart and have a look but it's unlikely you will be able to fix it. Nissan won't sell you any internal parts anyway.
Try the wreckers for a second hand solenoid or for a new solenoid send "Nizzbits" a private message, genuine Nissan new parts at good prices.
