View Full Version : High Country, Howqua River Weekend

Just arrived home from a marvelous weekend on the Howqua with a few work mates. We got blessed with the best weather one could ask for... Drove up there friday, setup camp and enjoyed. Now much off-roading apart from few river crossing to get there. Unfortunately it had to come to an end and now we're back to reality!

Yeah mate it was absolutely marvelous. Cold at night then warmed nicely midday. Had a quick swim, in the snow-melt howqua, woke me up nicely.

Yeah she ran great mate. And definitely something to be jealous of. It's magical up there.

Yeah mates dog, and he knew how to have a good time away... laze about in the sun & do sweet fark all!


Surprised the "granade" got you there and back:)

It did ! Shock and horror. Some of the hills, heading up there stretched the EGT gauge a bit, but it go there!

It's awesome mate. Scenery, fresh air, unreal views and tracks that make you question your man hood.
