View Full Version : Steering wheel not centered

Hi Guys,

hopefully someone can shed a little bit of light... I presume is going to be an easy thing but before going ahead with anything I would prefer the suggestions from someone experienced.

I just got installed a Tough Dog 3" kit by myself. Shocks, Coils, Panhard Rods, Brake Extensions... a lot of fun... and surprises... (why always one start a job like this needs to multiply the expected duration time by ten??).

Anyway, my question here is that now with everything almost finished, the steering wheel is not centred. Even with the wheels pointing straight ahead, the steering wheel points like turning to the left.

So what should I do to properly align the steering wheel to the centre?

Thanks in advance,

Buy a Heavy Duty adjustable Drag Link to adjust back. If you have a GQ you could take the steering wheel off to realign but you are affectively placing the steering box offset too which is not ideal.

Adjustable drag link is the go.
