i have a navman gps and was wondering if gps speedo is accurate,if it is my car speedo is out by 4 - 8 ks .is gps a reliable option for a speedo

Your GPS will be accurate to + or - 1 KPH and your Car Speedo should be overreading by about 7 KPH at 100 KPH (IE saying you are doing 107) assuming factory tyre size

Yep - gps far more accurate mate.

Never looked it that way..haha. Just remember the GPS itself is probably worth $100 or so

Mines spot on... which factory Sat Nav do you have... VDO?

I use a Garmin sat nav & its been pretty spot on, shows me under by 4 to 5 kms with the 31's on & about 3 to 4 kms over with the 33's
