Is there anyone with any ideas, suggestions and/or plans for drawers in GQs?

I haven't seen any plans here, but you can make your own, using "cover sheets" of ply from bunnings and some carpet to cover. You can even be elaborate and use steel runners. Otherwise just slide in wooden boxes in wooden box frame. eg

I have some plans for draws and although it does say they are for a prado they can be fitted to anything. I have tried to include them in this post but if it doesnt work pm me your email and I will try to send em like that, or if someone smarter than me can post up a pdf on here as a sticky for everyone to use

I have some plans at home for rear drawers and fridge slide, when I get home tonight I will find them and upload them on here, they were designed for a hilux tub but the concept works well and are easily changed to suit the patrol. It even has the design for the drawer runners.

That would be great mate - looking at doing this also, and would prefer to have a lash than pay over $2K for a black widow set!!

I am trying to upload the plans but it doesn't want to work, the file is 790kb but the limit is like 430kb and I can't get the file to compress enough or able to make the one document into two. I am more then happy to email them to everyone.

No worries, I like the plans as they allow you to make the drawer runners, they are strong and allow a bit more flexibility in how far out they come. I will see if I can upload some photos of mine that I made.

Ha the one on top looks great, thinking about to put one in my GQ, as we need a bed in our car and dont want to loose out on all the storage.
