hey guys have an 86 mq patrol, has 6 leafs on each spring. i keep snapping the frount leaf spring. main leaf at the back just before the eye hole. any way to stop this from happning. iv had it fo about 3 years brought off my dad who had it for another 8. so far we snap at least one per year. and finaly had enough of it.
specs:
standard spring and shackel 25mm body lift 33 inch wranglers lsd rear diff. trying to fix this problem before i lift it more and go to 35s.

Have you tried anti inversion shackles and greasable bushes ,makes a huge difference.
If not, even try Parabolic springs, do the 33's rub on the spring
something not lining up right IMO

yea the tyires do not rub against any thing. parabolic are they the 3 leaf. also hole truck sits on a lean. dad had to put 25mm lift pasingers side and 32mm lift drivers side to try and even it out. and rear shackels are lengthend to bring rea of truck same as frount.
also the frounts are a 7 leaf not a 6 sorry
