Hi all,

I have recently started collecting Lithgow /Slazenger sporting rifles after receiving an old Lithgow 1a as a gift, and was just wondering what setups some of you guys have.

I currently have

Lithgow Slazenger Model 1a .22,
Model 12 .22 (5 shot repeater),
Model 24 .22 Hornet(based on SMLE action)
.410 Lithgow single barrel shotgun(based on SMLE action)
as well as a Jager .45 Black powder Kentucky long rifle.

Next on my wish list is a .303 Jungle Carbine.

Mark

Hmm might not be a good idea to list your firearms.

I remember about 18 years I go i went to a gun show in Auckland. I could have brought a 20 mm anti aircraft gun along with a couple 100 rounds of ammo.

Is an air rifle like an air guitar? If so, I have many, too many to list :)

G'day NP99,

When I get out of hospital, I will post up my collection of last rites weapons that I used in the Australian and Rhodesian armies!

PS, what a shite weapon the F1 was! We conducted and experiment in the early 1980's whare we placed an angled sheet of wet canvas and the fired 2 five round bursts of 9mm from the F1 at 20 metres, to be shocked that rounds literal bounced off the canvas. lol

Regards,

Paul

I think I want a .307. Nice rifle.
I think a mate has one and I loved.
The way it fired, sounded the look.

Agreed, I wouldn't own up to what's a private weapon. I no longer have access to the above now...

Well now that I'm back from O/S and PMC has piped in I'll be cheeky and test the banning criteria.
There (BTW, just a few snaps, from O/S and old ones from 20 years ago with kids.. I have to work on cataloging photo's better). Yes the first photo is of the 'ready room', guns, cigars, and booze' ;

I agree 100% with NP99's comments. Remember the old saying "loose lips sink ships!" In other words men don't forewarn your enemies!
