Hey Guys,
I posted the other day regarding a 4" lift kit, but it looks like its not going to happen, so I think i have decided to go ahead with a OME Nitrocharger Sport 2" Lift. but i have not yet decided on the weight rating.

On the OME website, has a page where you can enter you truck details and it will give you some recommendations, for me to supplied the following:

Steel Bull Bar and Winch - Medium Load (0-200kg for optimum performance)
Steel Bull Bar and Winch - 200 KGS Load (200-400kg for optimum performance)
Steel Bull Bar and Winch - 400 KGS Load (> 400kg for optimum performance)

I'm leaning toward, the 400 KGS load. I figure 2 Adults, 1 Child (possibly 2), Roof Rack, Draws and full camping kit, would be over 400kgs. or have i got this wrong?

I figure it will keep my ground clearance better when fully loaded, In terms of handling, I'm guessing it would make it a harder ride?

please let me know what you guys think.

It will make it a hard ride, you're probably best to speak to ARB or a suspension specialist directly and explain what your plans are

Hi
I have the OME Nitrocharger 2" >400Kg on my ute. Clunk is spot on it does ride a bit harsh, particularly when unladen. I worked out that for most of my travelling the combined weight of my aluminium tray, spare, toolbox & swag is only 200kg tops. So I will be changing my rear coils to the 200kg-GVM when I get a chance. Could be a good idea to weigh your camping kit? I know I travel light, but mine didn't weigh anywhere near as much as I thought it would.

It will be a terrible drive whenever it's empty, also when full it will be harsh. Speak directly with ARB and fully list your current and future accessories and they will easily tell you what they fit to other clients with identical vehicles.
