Going up the cape at the end of June now ( missus is pregnant ) and wanted to know do I really need a sat nav? There is only one car going now :frown: We will have paper maps but do I really need a sat nav or maybe just the I phone app ( she has a I phone 4 s I think) any thoughts would be great Thanks.

If you can read a map then the answer is no, you don't need one.

All a Sat Nav is is an electronic map with an automatic finger that says "you are here".

if you have a phone or tablet you can get memory map for like $7 and it will come with a basic map and can record your trip, just make sure you pre load the areas you will be going as you need net connection for the initial loading.. after downloading the ap.

but for $7 why wouldnt you.

yeah we don't have a I pad so it would be $500 for the hema hn6 or probably more for a ipad with sat nav capabilities then the hema app. Don't know anything about computers sorry!

Definately not, save your money for Beer, last year up there it was on average $ 60 - $ 70 bucks a box, Happy travels.
