Have the travel buddy stove and would like to know
- where others have temporarily or permanently mounted them?
- and how it was mounted?

Stretch kindly made up a couple boxes for our Travel Buddy 12v Stoves which I have securely mounted into.

if you caged in your fridge you could fit it above nice and secure, easy enough to do MSA sell cages $$$$$

You could just use a transit base like I have, Ray's sell them not that much about $60 ,keep your fridge nice and secure.
Remove your fridge with one hand release, highly recommend
carpet a piece of marine ply to cover the cargo area and go from there

Yeah it comes with brackets on each side which are screwed into the shelf. I also put a second compartment in behind the oven where I can store spare parts, fuses, belts, filters, etc.

Is that the Marine style one Mego?

Have you fired it up yet?

Let us know how you go when cooking a pie, I noticed mine is considerably colder at the front to the point where if you were cooking two pies you should rotate them half way through cooking.

I wasn't sure if I blew an element or thats just how it is but let us know how you go?

Can you get access to the elements? Have a look at them. You'll know if it's blown just by looking

It's a pretty sealed up unit and I didnt want to start pulling it all apart but also the marine version is quite a big area to heat on 12V 15ah. I'll check out how easy it is to dismantle, god help us!!!

Yes mate the larger marine one.

I had 3 large sausage rolls in the oven in the morning at 130 degrees. I put them in at about 7:40 got to Broadford bout 9:30 and the sausage rolls were perfect to eat.
I took them out if the freezer last night and left them in the fridge so they would have been thawed also.
Put party pies in at 12:00 @130 degrees and were perfect for lunch at 1:00.

I did read your post prior so when we stopped I grabbed the trays an spun em around anyway.

Touching the bottom plate at the front by accident when spin tray around was bloody skin burning stuff.
