AB pizza night - plan of attack

Hi all,

We are having a meet up in the church of patrology on saturday 31st May located in christmas hills Vic, next to Yarra Glen to talk bollocks and cook up traditional pizzas in the new earth oven.

Everyone is welcome, including kids and wives. My family will be there but my misses is heavily pregnant and will be lacking enthusiasm to drink beer and talk about patrols...lol

I just need numbers so I can gather how much to get. This will be an epic cook up using traditional methods and I expect everyone to make their own recipes and experiment with flavours just like the ninja turtles!!!

Kick off is lunchtime for making up the dough and aim to roast these puppies up at 6pm ish.

Very casual day everyone so drop in to say hi!!!

Anyone is welcome to stay the night. I have a large bungalow which is very clean and 11 acres if you want to camp.

I'm going all out with ingredients so we can just kick back all night, talk nonsense and create dozens of homemade woodfired pizzas...yummy!!!

My ingredient list is as follows...feel free to add and ill update this post. Some are locally on the property too which is awesome...best you've ever had, AB guaranty!!!

I'd be happy to build some tracks if people are willing to wear out some tread. I also have the old 33" mongrels which could do some damage and the fj45 that I have no issue in trashing...lol

I have always wanted to get machinery in to do it properly though. Carve out ledges, holes, climbs etc but I just can't afford to get one in at this point.

However....more than happy to create tracks on that monster hill that heads down into the valley. I have spent time checking that out and it has huge potential...huge!!!

At this stage the pizza night is still on but I will not be surprised if the contractions come back and this baby comes out severley early!!!!

Anyways, please do not shoot me if this baby comes out around our pizza time...lol.....Fingers crossed it holds out for more development!!!

Guys I have just spoken with AB and things are a bit up in the air right now as Leah situation is a bit wait and see kind of thing..... it maybe too hard for Andy right now as she is still in hospital and not right for us to also expect (of course no one would) him to host us bunch of rat bags...!!!!!

Ooow I can't give exact dates just yet sorry bud.

Life has been a lil hectic lately with some minor pregnancy complications and the docs are keeping the misses longer cooking for now.

As soon as this puppy is out we will lock a date in but I just don't want to lock a date in until the baby is born first...lol

I had the oven at 600 degrees the other night and cooked up some mean pizzas that were honestly delish but cracked the outer core of the oven which apparently is inevitable when working with clay and sand but still frustrates me...lol...Also cracked the inner layer but only minor which suprised me as I used Cement Fondu which is the bees Knees in heat resistance mortar.

My favourite one which I am claiming as a the "Ab Special" was Prosciutto, olive oil, goat cheese, bazil, garlic and paste....Awesome!!!

The little man is on the mend but it's just too close. I am heading to Tassie tomorrow for a few days for work and ill be back on Thursday in the hopes we can bring the boy back home.

I've been using the bottom side of a pizza tray to make the pizza and slide into the oven, then 2 x spatulas to get it out...lol...it takes skill!!!
