surface rust in my gq gutter rails

Just wondering what products you have used for surface rust in your roof rails , that seems to work .

If its just surface rust rub it back with wet n dry to remove the rust and repaint. If its like mine what looked like surface rust is well ingrained tin worm and only cutting it out and welding in new steel is the only proper fix

Mine was caused by the steel roof rack. The rubbers has well n true lay worn off the feet. I saw spots from below but when I looked from above YUK
