Hey guys, We aren't really a club but we get together once a year for a trek for charity. It's called the Lightning Ridge Police Bush Safari. Were a not for profit organisation that goes on an annual camping trek around VIC, NSW, QLD, NT, and SA, This year marks the 24th year. Last year we trekked mostly the dirt roads including the Oodnadatta track up to Ayers Rock then down to the painted desert, Woomera, and Coober Pedy. Some previous treks include the Cape, Kimberleys, Fraser Island and the Top End just to name a few.
This year we are heading north for some farm stays out in Central Queensland, Carnarvon Gorge, Landcruiser Park and few other places in between. It is an event that is fully organised with support crews through NSW Ambulance, SES, and NSW Police. We have Singles, Families, Couples that come along. We have entertainment nights and fundraiser night and All the money we raise goes back into the safari and local charities. If you want any more information please check out our facebook page, give us a like and share with your friends. https://www.facebook.com/lrpbs
Msg me if you need any more information. This isn't for full on 4wders. We hit the dirt and if it rains you'll need a 4wd.
We try to incorporate something for the more serious 4wders hence going to landcruiser park this year. It's more a trek open to all ages
