Sounds like they done well considering the limited water and man power they had.

Do you know if that fire was deliberate or lighting strike?

Certainly does, I have not long come back from a bush walk in an area that was destroyed by bush fires late October last year, plenty of black still there but the new growth is amazing :) Sad to see a lot of land getting sold off as people can't afford to rebuild or don't want 2.
