Hi guys I've only just recently purchased my first patrol and have never had any car serviced in WA but would like to have it serviced (by a precessional lol) before my trip across the top, so if anyone has any recommendation on decent mechanics around the mandurha or rockingham area please let me know.

Also any advice on what to watch out for when I get my first 4x4 serviced would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the purchase mate. I can't help you with the area but I would be getting a full make over IMO.

All oils and filters including diffs, gear, tranny, etc. then you know where the entire vehicle is at, start fresh and you can manage everything from there.

Not sure about down your way mate but Robson Bros in Welshpool get a good wrap, by all accounts they're not cheap though. I can't vouch for them myself as I do the oils and coolant myself.

Robson Bros are good, for Mandurah, I would contact Darryl at Meadow springs motors in Rouse RD
