Looks good by looking as specs per price.
May I suggest a bit beefier one for extra $10. Quad core instead of dual core processor.

Neither of those has 3G though and state you have to add a 3G dongle to operate as a GPS. Only real downside. Also I have No Idea about running Oze-explorer on an Android. Check whether you can enforce getting to involved.

Gps is gps , you shouldn't need 3g in order for Gps to work. You can get oziexplorer for android.
Would I butw one of these????? ....... No and the reason being is they are an unknown entity to me. I'd rather spend the same sort of money on a Nexus 7 or a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" both of which are 7" tablets

Yeah as clunk mentioned 3G is for net but the cheaper tablets and iPads didn't have the built in GPS receiver which is what I bought not realising.

Huge mistake!!!

most cheap ones do have gps, mine did and is a 100buck Chinese piece of crap, my gps setting was turned of so at first I thought mine didn't have gps because it didn't work with the you4wd app and the crappy manual mentioned nothing about gps wasn't until playing with settings that I found one for gps and it was switched off.

I have a Asus Tab and have loaded the android version of oziexplorer and found it not very good, it is not the same as oziexplorer on a PC.

I have a galaxy TAB2 7".

The unit has internal GPS, takes up a 32 Gb card

A new galaxy TAB3 7" are around $225, faster, internal GPS, more storage etc.

I'm running android Oziexplorer and very happy with it, yes its cut don from the PC version, but it does the JOB. I believe the tab3's come with a Turn by Turn GPS apps as well.

I used a RAM Mount - (designed for the Samsung) to properly mount the unit - I have posted else where about the ram mount

I used the tab at home to acess the internet via wifi. I have also just purchased a TELSTRA hot spot that I can take on trips tyo use with my phines and the tablet
