Why ???

A new radiator is around $450-$500
A new/rebuilt motor is ???

Shop around between radiator shops there is quite a large difference in prices
If ya have the Plastic tank/alloy core radiator
Replace it with a steel tank/copper core jobie
They are even cheaper
OR
Maybe get your old radiator rodded out (about $100)

Sorry dont know of a replacement from another make/model
I personally wouldnt take the risk

X2 for me - for the money, one of those things I figure you just spend on to protect the engine etc ... Just got an all alloy number put in mine - bit more expensive, buts runs cooler and gives me full peace of mind.

Good luck with it either way mate.
