Hi guys, thanks for the welcomes. We've been keeping up-to-date with the forum for a while now so thought it was about time we pulled our finger out and supported you guys.

We'll keep an eye on any ARB related threads and help out where we can. We're always available via PM for anything more pressing.

Cheers, Sam.

Hi Sam, apologies for not changing you over to the Vendor Sponsor category. All sorted now mate!

I'm actually looking into getting one of your on board compressors soon but struggling to find a good spot under the bonnet with the TD42 GQ, duel battery and Patrol Docta airbox. Room is starting to become limited!

Do many people put them under the seats or any other areas you know of?

I could possibly mount it near the fuel filter but also concerned about the heat off the exhaust manifold (no shield).

If for some reason I want to get rid of the Lokka and put ARB air locker on would it still be ok if the compressor is mounted all the way under the seat?

Yes. Mine is under the passenger seat AB running twin air lockers

So long as you don't fill the floor with water :)

That's where a couple of mates of mine had mounted theirs in their GQ's. Front and rear air lockers.

I have been to the ARB factory in Kilsyth. They have one of their Hioutput compressors setup in a fish tank, fully submerged and on constant duty cycle. They have an external "snorkel" extension and it is not missing a beat. Quite amazing to see, very impressive!

AB, plenty of spots to fit them, depending on the model you decide on. The twin compressor fits nicely under the seat (as does the high output). Some of our staff have also mounted them behind door panels and inside rear cargo panels. If you have a drawer system, then on the side or on the back of those is also a popular spot.

No problem with running Air Lockers via a compressor under the seat.

Cheers, Sam.

Hi folks, great news, ARB are staying on for another year of sponsorship!!!

Good stuff! I was really impressed with the tour we got and it has definitely got me talking positive about ARB to everyone.

Also, I had the rear OME shocks off my old Jackaroo disconnected the other day. Even though it still handles well and I have no reason to think anything is wrong, I know they are old as the hills, so thinking it is probably something to check out one day. I was so surprised, still as good as new. Took a lot of effort to push them back in to get it back on the mount.

When I bought the Jackroo it came with every receipt the guy had spent on it. I just went and found the receipt.

30/11/2001. Found a nearby service receipt and the car had done a bit more than 70,000km at that time

Now about 13 years later the car has about 180,000km. (Judging by the condition of the car they've been easy kms, but still a long time and lot of kms).

Still very serviceable. That is just fantastic product!

Dang, I thought the speaker was the best bit, hahahahaha.

In all seriousness though, I was majorly impressed with the locker and bullbar areas, you could literally see the investment in quality
