Just an idea we used on another forum for cruiser motor bikes. A few guys made up specialist tools and shared them around via post or hand to help each other out. I'm thinking good ones for here might be radius arm bush tool rather than a socket etc, some prefer the make do of sockets, pins, chisels etc and others prefer the correct tools. What's the general consensus?

I have a homemade RLI in storage at Woolgoolga, Feed him grog and he does the work for you, He can get a bit chatty though but a swift whack around the chops usually puts him back into line, You can have this one for free + I'll throw in some food and a leash for him!!!!

Concept is all warm and fuzzy 99 ..but I see problems here with it....who will people lend them too ?..with as much respect as can be had with this...90% of punters here dont know each other..so it would obviously be kept to a select few who associate or live close...some one is going to end up saying no to somebody at some time...probably more based on time of membership etc...Like BA ..Personally I dont lend tools to be taken away, money , or the wife...all in that order lol...I would prefer to replace something for myself than have to replace a new one elsewhere if it breaks and still not have one...yes it is a bit selfish , but no issues or politics...but you can use a tool of mine that you cant take away with you , (welder , press etc )
maybe you could at that on to the manual 25 posts ....lolololololololololololol.....I cant see it coming out too good , though good thoughts
