gear box winedy noise

hi im shane and have a mq nissan patrol short wheel base, with a 327 chev conversion and is a 4 speed manual, im just wondering if anyone could help my fuind what the problem is with my gearbox, it all works fine but 1st, 2nd , and 3rd have a loud winedy noise , can any one help me to solve this ??? i have already topped up the gearbox oil which was low but still seems to make this annoying noise, any answeres would be great, thanks Shane.

Sounds like worn bearings to me, mainly your lay shaft bearings if it's worse with 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
