I HAVE JUST CANCELLED THIS DUE TO THE FEEDBACK FROM YOU GUYS hi guys i just bought this
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10-1-10-Point-IPS-Sanei-N10-Quad-Core-Tablet-PC-RK3066-1-2-GHz-GPS-WI-FI-1G-4G-/281151316382?ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:AU:3160

I have an ipad with hema on it but to be honest im a bit dissapointed with how many tracks are not on hema, a lot of the western patrol guys are running ozzie and have far more maps that i can access with hema so i had a look for a gps inbuilt android tablet and thought for the price if it works i cant go wrong, i will post up my findings when i receive it and give it a try, i will still take my ipad and log the tracks with hema just incase the cheapy tablet poops itself.

If you see something thats too good to be true, then it isn't. $18 for a tablet with free postage? Suss. the last three people who have bought one are all negative feedbacks. Awesome price if you don't get it though. Will be watching this thread to see results. As I'm in the market for a tablet. Will get a GoPro at the same time... Bought the missus a Galaxy Tab 2 and its pretty good. A bit slow but not bad for the price. So I reckon I will get the Galaxy note as this is the only tablet that is faster than the iPad. And I certainly won't be buying Crapple chit again.
So Hema isn't all that good then? I have NFI with GPS maps so I need to do some research first.
Good luck Stropp.

Always and I mean always read the feedback, Anything under 100% check all feedback as a seller as to why there is a negative comment.

Even with 100% I check as to how many sales they have had............I'm pretty sure a member could have 100% feedback with no sales and if thats the case I would be on the cautious side buying something off them

Good luck Stropp, hope you get a bargain

Anything around 99.5% upwards you are pretty safe. I got your email bud and others have mentioned it does look to good to be true.

Let me know how you and will find 1 for you if this 1 doesnt work out.

You will pretty much never go wrong with the galaxy tab or similar like Asus etc but having said that there are sime pretty good cheapies out there

yeh i have contacted paypal to say that on reading the feedback i think it is fraudulant and i want my money back, no big loss if i dont but its the lesson learnt there, there are others selling the same thing for $156 with 100% feedback i may look at one of those.

You can't go wrong with the Galaxy Note series. I've got the Note 10.1 and the Note II. Both of them rock. My daughter pestered me so much, I had to get her a Note 10.1 of her own so she'd leave mine alone.

OruxMaps is pretty good on it as well

Yep missus has the Galaxy Note 10.1, very impressed with it, they're currently the ones in the Samsung range to go for because of the more powerful processor. My 7year old daughter has a Galaxy 7" Tab2 which is also very good...... Nice and compact.
I'm using a Motorola Xoom, which is good and robust due to having a metal case but it's a few years old now so I really notice how slow it is after using my phone and it's not light compared to the Samsung's.

All of the above I have used a normal road navigator on and work very well. I've yet to purchase Ozi explorer to try it out.

I don't want to spend a lot of money as it will only be for navigation.

other option is look at a cheap WinCE chinese GPS unit and load OziCE on it with an SD card or if you have an old Navman that takes an SD card, you can load Miopocket on it and put Ozi on the SD card and viola all done

I had a look at heaps of these and this 1 is probably 1 of the best ones out there for the coin without going up in price for a Samsung etc and seeing as it can take a SIM card it has an internal 3g / GPS module so no need for dongles etc.

100% seller rating and based in Sydney.

Looks exactly like the Evorea I bought for around the same price but without the internal 3g / GPS module, hunks of junks not even worth the 130bucks

We bought 2 of them and had issues with one that kept crashing................no customer support

It might do the job if you are only going to use it as a gps, but I would spend 100 bucks more and get something half decent that at least has customer support

P.S: That one in the link does not come with an Australian charger, you will also have 2 buy that

DOH missed that part, if only using for GPS better getting just a cheap WinCE GPS jobbie and running with that and put Ozi on it and keep the Ipad for everything else

Nearly all android devices have inbuilt gps, I have read the only Android devices you will find that don't have gps are some of the cheap chinese devices and even the Play store is not legit on them.

And yes that has GPS: http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_xoom_mz601-3834.php

Hey Stropp,
I agree with you about the number of tracks shown on the Hema maps BUT you can add maps to your Hema powered IPad.
I scan and calibrate all my own high country paper maps for use on my iPad. Works a treat.
I have a DIY thread on how to do it. There's a bit if a learning curve the first time but after that its a piece of pi$$. You can even convert some of the electronic OziExplorer maps to work with it too.....
Look up Memory Map, that is the software that is used to display the Hema maps.....

Tip tip tip......tap tap tap....
