View Full Version : Size of standard GQ ST 3.0L Patrol wheels

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows the standard width for the GQ patrol ST 3L petrol wheels? I have had bugger all luck find this on the web and do not want to go off the tyre size.

They are the white Sunnys (I believe), without the red and blue pin stripping near the outside.

from wat i can gather patrols come out with 31x10.5xr15's on 15x7 rims

people correct me if im wrong

Standard steel wheel was 16 x 6 (first pic)
Factory wide wheel pack got 15 x 7 sunraysia style (second pic)

235/85/16 on 16" sunraysias look cool.

Out of interest do any of you guys know the best choice of All Terrain tyre is for the 16 x 6 wheel?
also whats the largest size I could fit on them.

IMHO the "best" AT tyre revolves totally around the best deal you can get for your $ in Light Truck construction and what you do. They are all pretty good these days with two considerations...
1. 5 rib versus 4 rib - IMHO 4 rib are a no brainer. Much better tyre off the bitumen than 5 rib jobbies
2. The amount of side bite you need, some have little or no side biters in the moulding pattern

I currently run Kuhmo KL78's ($220 a corner) and very happy with them for what I do... off road touring... but not about to leap up and down and say they are better or worse than any others. Simply a good tyre at a good price with very few negative feedbacks found on the WWW
