Patrol transfer case to non Patrol td42 gearbox

Hi fellows, as the title says, would it be possible to fit a non Patrol td42 gearbox (Civilian in this case) to the patrol transfer case? Mine currently comes with a 4 speed manual and I have access to a Civilian 5 speed box (non 4wd).

Anybody familiar with the Civilian transmission?

Sorry mate, I thought the civillian had the same 5 speed trans as the patrol 5 speed but with a different diff. Might want to check that out because if they're the same trans the transfer case should be interchangable.
