You could make an awesome camping rig out of that.

I sure could see some pod envy there, mines bigger than yours.

Saw an extended GQ once with wheel chair access in the middle.\,via sliding door
but that Ambo has sooooo much potential as a tourer, shame about the motor

No intercooler scoop makes it a 2.8 - some people just don't like them.

It said 4 cylinder so assuming its early ZD30
Edit:: read it wrong says 4 ltr
don't know how they get 4 ltr out of 2.8

It actually says it is 4 Litre, It looks like a blacktop TD42 to me, especially if you count the number of injectors before the cross over pipe.

Now that could be converted into a top notch Camper for Off Road.

Geez I am tempted

no it said 4lt not 4 cylinder.

It looks like a TD42 to me in the engine bay pic and the sticker on the door looks like it says DX4.2

its a 1999 so pre factory intercooler days. I'd buy that in a heart beat! what a great buy and well priced

Right, so if it's a factory 4.2 it definitely is a good buy.

Nice! Never seen one like that before! It sure does offer a lot of possibility and at low mileage with a fair price if it were to sell for the $22K.
I wouldn't buy it though. Why? Because after the excitement of all that potential camper space on a 4wd had subsided, the realisation would dawn that despite being a 4wd, the restricted clearance from the desirable body would mean that it is largely only any good for roads & tracks where 4wd isn't required. It would certainly make a very nice & solid camper with the ability to traverse slippery ground that might stop a 2wd though. Weight is also likely to be an issue.

Its a Patrol its a 4x4 unless you're driving in a cave you'd be hard pressed to stop it,
would take it to the TIP in A heart beat, for touring no probs, not so high country stuff
