Hi Guys,

I came across some 33" tyres on ebay for $800 that are Super Swamper TSLs. I have never heard of the brand before but does anyone know anything about them? i dont use my car as a daily driver so i cant imagine being a full muddy would matter too much? any feedback would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Rusty

Super swampers have been around for donkeys, they are really aggressive probably wouldn't let them them touch the road so they don't wear out too much

ok cool well i do have another set so that wouldnt be a problem i guess reckon its worth the money? i just want 33's and cant justify spending over 1500$ on a full set of tyres for a car that i use once a fortnight!

Best tyres. I run 36x12.5x15s on my patrol. And mate runs 39.5 tsls on the front and boggers rear on his. Cant go past em. Just waiting on locked 15x10s for mine then they will be great

are they ridiculously bad on-road?

Not too bad. Depends what pressure you run so you dont wreck them. I had a set of maxxis mudzillas and they were the worst on road ever. Couldnt hear the person next to you yelling.

so i picked the tyres up on friday and will be fitting them this week. ended up scoring 5 with rims for $700. there is probably about 70-80% tread on them so i reckon i got a pretty good deal.

oh... they look REALLY mean too.

I was under the impression was more than 2 inches on swb was too much f-ing around? Only cos it made the angle of gearbox too steep, so you had to muck around with gearbox angles etc?

took some proper snaps at work this morning. man they look awesome in the light. now just gotta iron out the few little problems, namely the front left mud flap keeps catching and inverting. nothing a bit of chain wont fix!

edit: oh and bugger me! they are very noisy on the road! sounds like a cessna about to take off haha, lucky its not the daily!
