Found an engine to repower the patrol but I think it might be bit big:):)

Bloody motorculture won't let me load the photos so now I look like a goose who started a tread with no pics.

That motor reduction gearing,,oh yeah
Sad when you find the perfect motor but wont fit down any track

For GQ only! There no place for intercooler after fitting this 6 cyl engine as in all classical GQ.

Yea mate, i can fit that into your Patrol, just a bit of shoe-horning here and there, but no real farken dramas!

It will cost you a carton of crownies (BEER) and you will have to be my T/A for the day!

PS, when do you want to do the engine swap. lol

Latest issue October no.357 of 4x4 Australia mag has an article on 4 common conversions for the Patrol,
from LS1/2, chev 6.5,toyota 1HD-fte,6.6 duramax, plus 4.2 td Nissan.
All the pros and cons of each, after reading the Duramax with dial in performance would be my pick but $40k is

Yes it will fit, you will need some longer bolts and new front springs!!
