Guys,
Looking for some good tracks around Merimbula way. Up here at the house with the kids and thought I might do a few tracks.....don't normally have the Q here so not checked anything out in the area....
Any thoughts on good ones? Nothing extreme (no winching as mine is apart in the shed) but a challenge is ok....
Your 2c please folks......

Mate, I did a trip few years ago between Bemboka to Eden through the great dividing range which was unreal trip and I will definitely do again one day.
We started at GlennBog state forest to Tantawangalo state forest to Cathcart state forest to Bombala state forest to Towamba state forest to Mt Imlay National Park to East Boyd state forest and into Eden.

Alexanders Hut was were we stayed one night and it was a top stop...Most tracks were easy to moderate but it was January and very dry so winter time and wet...could be good. Myanba gorge is somwhere to the south of that which we missed out on but would be worth seeing.

I reckon just head west on Mt Darragh Rd and explore north of there, between Pambula and Wyndham...there are some nice peaks there with nice and green valleys everywhere

EDIT: have a look at earth4x4.com.au that site might have some track names and difficultiues

Was thinking about Selwyn for the snow....
Wife is back at work on Monday but I have taken an extra week......
Had thought about hanging around a bit longer or going for an explore somewhere.

If you do hang around let us know and we can catch up somewhere.
Could possibly do the Bendethera and Merricumbene Fire Trails near Moruya????

I'll be staying at Merry beach near Bawley point from Monday till Wednesday week.
I wish I could make the snow trip this Thursday:(

Sounds good mate. I'm going to work on the wife to give me a couple of extra days.
Shame you can't get to the snow. Should be fun!

No good mate.
Wife is back at work and I'm looking after the kids for the second week of holidays to give the grandparents a break.
Zero backing out of that.
Hope you have a top time up there.
We should organise a forum meet in that part of the world. It is stunning.
Cheers,
Drew.
