Hi All

as per title states Patrol Suspension on D22 Navara Dual Cab ute
hopefully you guys don't mind me asking this

Ok, quick overview on why I am asking this question in the first place.
We are going to SAS our D22 with GQ rolling gears - the only issue
that we need more concrete answer.

Will be an aftermarket GQ 2" lift kit suspension too hard for D22 navara?
like for example - not much compression on the springs?

If anyone can help - it will be much appreciated - I will also start a build
thread sometime next week.

thanks all

can't see the point , unless you're grafting live axle onto the front, GQ springs would be too firm.
You'll want coils to suit weight of D22 whatever that is, You might be better off grafting early Hilux
frontend on if its at all possible. Talk to some Fabricating/conversion shops.

It has been done before but to the extremes, the bloke who did it ended up competing in tuff truck this year. You will have to get custom springs made as most off the shelf items will be to heavy for the navara.

I can't see the point if you are only installing 2" lift. You can lift torsion bar suspension 2" without any issues. I did it to my D22 when I had it, before I saw the light and bought a Patrol.

The best thing to do is to weigh the vehicle once the work has been done then get a set of springs wound to suit.
