THANKS fellas shes stock standard at present , NOW TO SET THE CAT AMONGST THE PIDEONS what would it take to fit a oil burner to it say a 3 ltr plus fuel tanks and plumming

If you want to swap in a diesel do yourself a favor and make it a TD42.
Fuel tanks can stay but you will need to clean them out and remove the high pressure pump from the main tank.
Fuel line may need to be replaced, not 100% sure.
If your 4.5 is a manual you will need a diesel bell housing and starter motor.
You will need a lift pump and diesel fuel filter, glow plug module and probably a few other bits and pieces.

Easiest way to do it would be to buy a complete wreck with the engine you want, that way it will have everything you need.
