So anyway being out of a job it killing me in one sense but my patrol has never seen better days as all this time and work I am doing on it!
Anyway to the point with my spare time I am been looking and planning a set of draws in the rear of my GU.
So I am looking at very similar to bloodyaussies one love the idea of raising one side a bit with inverter ect.
I am also thinking of putting a 20litre drum at the back to fill with water and running a hose down to the back somewhere. Maybe the inverter or so with some cigarette sockets to plug those accessories ect! I thinking of securing my air compressor in there with a socket out the back like BA's
Maybe 2 small draws half the size not full way down with a lift up compartment at the back for less frequently used stuff!
Then my wife got involved and suggested why not make it deeper and have a shallow draw on top or bottom with tools set up just like a tool box!
We got the wood 15mm ply as its sitting around the house doing nothing! Have a 20litre drum to secure in the back behind the seat with easy access for refilling!.
Just got to pick up some carpet and rollers ect!
Looking at doing this on the weekend! And will get some pictures but thought would throw it out there see if anyone has ideas tips tricks ect maybe something we haven't thought off?
