Hi all,

I've had a busy day - installed Amada Extreme shocks, and into the rear of the GU.

Got to the front, ripped out the old shocks and have now got the new shock in place, managed to get the top nut done up but for the life of me I can't seem to compress the bottom bushes enough to get the nut started. I've tried compressing the bushes in every way I can think but they just seem to be a couple of mm too wide.

Anyone got any tips to do this bugger of a job? I could go out and buy slightly thinner bushes but I figure these are the bushes that come with the shocks so they should be good to go. It's doing my head in, I must be missing something?

If they are 2 piece I'm thinking trim some off the inside, but pic would help if available

Here's some pics. I got a nut on in the end, but it doesn't have the washer on it yet. Apologies for the poor quality pic.

Fixed the problem by trimming 2-3mm off the bottom of the lower bush. All installed and ready to play!

2nd that, should only have metal washers on shock side of shock side bush and nut side of nut side bush.

Cutting the 2-3mm off, you have helped in the wear and tear mate!
