Hey Guys, garbed this off 4wd Action, I went on this last year and had an absolute blast. Was a great day out with over 200 other 4bys. So if you are free try and make it to at least one of the day. You wont be disapointed ;)

SA Mega Meet Up #2 - The Sequel : 2-4 Oct '10
Our Free BBQ and 4WDing Fun Day is on again !
Yes it's official, the biggest 4WD Meet Up ever is on again guys and gals.

We , that is YOU, absolutely blew 'em all away last year with the huge number of mad keen 4WDers to have assembled in one place for a social get-together and some local 4WDing.
This year, we are hoping of course to make it even bigger and better, with an earlier kick start to the event, so we can get a better idea of numbers, who's going, and what you'd like to see this year.

We are once again working on seeing the crew from 4WD Action attend, and hopefully including the greatest 4WD character around, Roothy. We have received confirmation from Simon that the 4WDTV crew will also be coming along to capture all the fun of this weekend, plus some other surprises we are working on.
The dates are worked out to best fit with other events happening, so we have settled on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of October 2010. Aside from making sure the dates don't clash with other great 4WDing events, it also means the season is a little cooler, greener, and there is a lot more time for everyone to play afterwards.

The free BBQ at our place is still the starting point, as we have an even bigger and better showroom and workshop to show you, just around the corner from where we met last year. We will still be in the same area in Mount Barker but in a brand new place just 400 metres up the road, and with more car park space as well, we can all fit in much easier.
We will have some more help from sponsors at the BBQ this year, to help us control costs of the free BBQ, as it really got away last year with the huge numbers unexpectedly turning up and even with all the donations and help, so please make sure you take the time to call in to each display and say hello. It means this free event can keep happening with your support. The BBQ starts at 11.00 am this year, a bit earlier.

Remember, we all got together and generously donated over $700.00 to the RFDS last year, and maybe we can surprise them again this year.

Then to the 4WDing......

To find out more about the 4WDing and weekend activities at the private property on a short drive from Mt Barker, check out the information in the 'Events' thread, check this link; http://www.4wdaction.com.au/forum/sh...ad.php?t=93034

This year, with rising costs, insurance demands, and the plan to set the property up for more 4WDing fun ongoing, there will be an entry fee to the property through means of membership in the ONLY club you will want to be a member of, the 'FNB 4WD Action Club'. There is a limit of persons/vehicles getting into the property this year, and is set at 250, only a few more than last year. With a bit more prep time and this membership system, we can make this work more smoothly, spend less time gaining access, and we can spend more time 4WDing.
Your membership options will be available for viewing on our own website at www.fnb4wd.com.au, and this extra page will be set up shortly for you, we just need a little more time. Note this is about making sure we can be better prepared and organized for this event and many other future events. Note this is a means of managing costs only, and ensuring our host receives some thank you for opening his gates to us.

Please be aware that the main road into the property WILL BE BLOCKED to all traffic until 1.00pm. People heading out early will not be able to drive to the gate until the Event Management Staff open the road, and you may be relegated to end of the convoy, so please do not head out too early. We will be leaving earlier at 1.00pm, allowing more time to get in and play on the Saturday.
Similar rules will be in place regarding care of the property, no rubbish, no butts out windows, orderly behaviour, etc. As a membership system is involved, persons doing the wrong thing will be ejected and their membership voided. See the rules at the website noted above.

So if you want to be part of the best 4WDing fun you can have, only a short drive from the city, and you can handle helping out with a few dollars to keep it happening, then jump on the website, claim your membership number, and register here by letting us know who you are and what your number is.
Only the first 250 full members will access the property for this event, so be quick!

For more information or discussion on the 4WDing Event following the SA Mega Meet Up, please check out the info in the Events thread.

This thread is about the biggest and only free social 4WDing event in SA.
