$5 length of pipe and 150 kg scales on flat hard surface work well for me.
psshhh, don't tell the boss.

I have used one of these recently and have found them to be very inaccurate. The one I used was over 50 kg out! Speaking to our local ARB shop they said they have tested them and found the same problem. They offered to let me use their digital scales to weigh my entire van or towball weight or whatever I wanted, for free. All I have to do is tow the van to their shop.

Out in which direction, under or over weight?
50 kg can be a lot of cans you can add :1062: or have to leave behind :frown:

Said the van was 50 kg heavier than it really was.

That could be just as inaccurate dependent upon the scales,

When was it last tested / calibrated?
At what measurement is it weighed /displayed, I'm pretty sure the weighbridge I use 2 work for weighed and displayed in multiple's of 20kg.
