View Full Version : Help with turning up my boost on a gu patrol diesel

Hey guys , just need a little help, my dads patrol is running stock boost , if I just hook up a manual boost controller to the wastegate actuator will that do it or do I have to change anything else ?

What year is it ??
If its a Di just fit a NADS kit to it.
You cant put that much boost into them as it'll go into limp or overboost.
12-15 psi is heaps, read some of Chaz Yellowfoots threads on Nads.

Manual boost controller wont work if its s 3ltr. They use vacuum to control the boost. Not, boost. You need a Dawes valve to control the vacuum/ boost on these motors.

could be a rare GU patrol with an SD33T fitted, but with an upgraded turbo with an electrical waste gate actuator!!

yep and thats why we ask people to do intros mate, He came here and posted a question, plenty of good members here to help him and he did not even have the courtesy of saying Hello! Let Alone even bothering to return for the answers!
