I love stuff like this, just a shame the owner didnt make the conversion 100% legal, not sure who did the mod plate, but they either don't know the rules, or the engine was modded after its blue plate compliance. :(

In the add it says the engine is blue plated.

What makes you say is not legit?????

Well, im assuming there is a intake pipe to go in front of the turbo, but its very obvious the engine breather box ,vents to atmosphere (a big no no since about 1976 in QLD)

Now this in itself is a easy fix ,by simply removing the filters and plumbing the line/s to the intake before the turbo, but.............as soon as you do this, the blowoff valve becomes illeagal as it now vents the oil vapour into the atmosphere.


I can tell you without hesitation, these are the very first things any QLD cop will look for ,and will bust the poor unsuspecting owner for !

i cant link it for another 3 hours but do a search on Gumtree for 4.8 turbo patrol aussie wide and theres a nice GU manual for 37g's
