Ooo ... oooo ... pick me, pick me ... I know ...

Its obvious really ... he shouldn't have let that lovely white snatch rope drop into the mud - he'll be up all night cleaning it when he gets home!!! *LMFAO* ... how did I go???

Or could it be the only thing he could find to link the snatch ropes together was borrowed from an Ipache Indian??? lololol ...

The sad part about this is that it has 'Nissan' written on the tailgate. I've learnt over the past few years
that common sense has diminished.

Clearly in this case, a risk assessment wasn't undertaken before this evolution was put into place.

Was this guy wanting to fill the back of his ute up with firewood in one foul snatch?

The guy towing this truck out needs to be chatted to as well. One wonders what he was thinking at the time?

If that is a Axe holding the two straps together... then that is the problem.. BUT not the only problem in this situation.

Safety is paramount in my experience with all things related to motor vehicles. And when off road vehicles need to be saved (such as this in the picture) Safety is even more important.

I understand in one way that the people in this image maybe had no decent recovery equipment, but the reality remains, safety needs to take precedence.

So may I ask if someone could point out the worse case scenarios in this picture?

I think it's pretty obvious. Accidents like this (http://www.magistratescourt.tas.gov.au/decisions/coronial_findings/s/stein,_joshua_phillip_-_2010_tascd_418)will result

Death by many ways and the odds of someone dieing in that picture would not be too far fetched either.

I saw a Youtube video of a small kid who just did a 6" lift and crawled in the arch to get his photo taken on a flex in a muddy hill...

Nothing happened but pretty damn risky in my books!

It's a great aussie trait to improvise but strewth why wouldnt you use a stick! and tie off round the towbar itself rather than the ball!!
