What do you guys do with Grinners? I was thinking of keeping them for crab pots....any thoughts?

Not being a Qlder, but m2cw.
If your going to keep a grinner for crab pot, you would probably want to keep them fresh and use them fresh, as I believe (but not sure) they do not freeze very well.

Fillet and use as strip baits for snapper , jew their not oily enough for crab bait . One of the neighbors father reckons they taste alright but very Boney , I'm not convinced to try them yet tho

When fishing up there, whenever caught are always going back in the water.

For me the best crab bait has been home brand cat food. Stab a few holes in the tin and away you go
