Hello

Does anybody know the taper angle of the ball joints and drag links.
I am about to do some modifications and cant measure it accuratly enough to be sure. I am about to purchase a reamer.
It is either 6 degrees (doubt it) or 7 Degrees or 7.25 degrees.

Believe it or not, a GQ and a GU run a different Taper!!! Which do you have and what are you modifying?

Leaf sprung MK. With the increase in height after a spring reset it tends to have some bounce steer so I am looking to put the tie rod on top of the hub arms so the drag link is nearly horizontal.
So I am looking to ream the hub arms and make a collet for the bottom side. I can set the lathe up to do the collet when I get the angle but I cant measure the angle accurately enough.

Give Superior Engineering a call mate they will tell you in a heart beat. Sorry cant be sure so should not guess as it won't help you at all.

They could probably tell you what they have done to solve bump steer on a leafy too ;)

Good luck mate
