I do love my XR probably more than my patrol, but it will be hopefully sold by the end of the week, its going to be a very sad day that day. Lots of beers and crying if it goes

Sorry Lucas, If I don't sell the bike, I don't get another car, If I don't get another car the Patrol does not come off the road to get work done 2 it

Well you should be sorry..... Lol

I'm in the exact same boat. I can't keep driving the trol as a daily. Looking for another cheap vehicle but dont have much to spend (like nothing!!). One thing I know though is if I get rid of my xr then I won't have my xr........ Thats the only logic I need! Haha. Instead, I've committed to riding it more so that it pulls its own weight lol.

Mate, If I could hold off another year or two I would, unfortunately I need 2 pick the kids up from school / pre-school twice a week as my partner works afternoon shift on those days and I can't pick the kids up on the XR :(

He made me get on it before I even owned a bike.
All the others were too scared haha......Nuff said!!!

The 300s are good though. Does yours have the switch to change the spark map on the fly??

mines an 05 model it dosnt have one. It has the interchangeable power valve spring though.

300's are the smallest of the big bores

A mate had a gas gas around 05 model with that switch. It's really weird to ride but I reckon it would be great once you got used to it.

TODDS TEST THREAD: How quick can a thread be hijacked!! Lmao

FanTapstic!

Pretty damn quick around here *LMAO*

In the first post I originally had in big bold underlined letters "Do not post in this thread as it will wreck what I'm trying to achieve"

But I know most of u guys would of hijacked it anyway so removed it

My test didn't in a way achieve what I was after anyway, but good 2 see you guys are dribblin away in it :)

I only posted pics of the bike as it was the easiest to access on the hard drive as they where on the desktop, I love bikes so its good 2 see there are more bike lovers on here out there :)

Do you get 2 ride much Benny, and what style of riding do you prefer??? I love bush trail riding I'm not so much into the jumps / motocross, think if I was into that I would break some bones for sure :):):) Can't afford to be of work so won't risk it :(
