Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has a set of 2nd hand springs and shocks that they have since upgraded from lying around. I'm wanting to buy a real good quality set, but I dont have the money yet, so I need a stop gap for now. Located in Melbourne.
Cheers guys.

TBH I think you'll struggle. Most blokes only change once stuffed...
Our hand brakes.. I ment wife's only all upgrades once broken... ;)

Haha yeah I figured that would be the case. Was just hoping some lucky bugger out there has enough money to buy suspension parts willy nilly and had some lying around.

Just keep scouring gumtree, fleabay, your local 4x4 forums, they do come up but not too often......... I managed to pick get my 2in ome lift kit for $400, near new and haven't let me down yet.

If 2nd hand is the way you want to go, just be very vigilant and very very patient

Is there such a thing as RTI..... Repetitive Tapping Injury?????

Hey guys, I'm going to bring this back up.

I've worked out my dollars and am able to throw a bit more money into my suspension. I'm still thinking of just going with the 2" but am also contemplating a 3" instead.

This is going to be my daily drive but I still want it to be nice and flexy off road. Not going to be carrying huge loads at any stage. If I have a ballpark of $1000, what do you all recommend? Brands, dealers, size of the lift. Go for gold!

Yes I know it's all been said before, but it's tough to search through it all when I'm on the tappa tappa. So all advice is appreciated. Cheers

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Keep it basic. Got any recommendations on what brands to go for in that price range? What brand are you using?

I've got Old Man Emu but was in the car when I bought it and unfortunately would be out of your price range. Can't really recommend anything else sorry, but I've had Pedders and would not recommend.

I've got a set of 2" springs. I bought a set to see if mine had sagged at all. I ended up swapping the rear ones as they were rated for a similar load, but the front ones were a bit shorter than I already had. The front ones are Kings still in very good nick and the rear are Dobsons, they were sagging a little when I was loaded up with draws etc.

Can take the 4 off me for $200. I'm in Glen Iris, 3146
