Oil in Exaust. Runs out like a tap

I think the turbo is gone on my niasan patrol 1997 model rx 2.8 turbo. I put a cut in the Exaust just behind the dump pipe. Oil flowed out the cut while engin was running. Blows white smoke. Wondering if the turbo is blown. Any help would be great. Cheers. Jimmy

Welcome to the forum Jimmy, pop over to the introductions page and tell us a bit about yourself and your patrol.

Pull the rear housing/dump pipe off the turbo and see if the turbine wheel is wet indicating the oil has come from the engine. If the oil trail starts at the turbo then it is most likely a leaking turbo oil seal.
