He better have it sorted quick as I will be packed and waiting to go to Andrews.......

Can't say I blame you. When we used to go camping we had a massive mammoth of a thing, couldn't fit it in the back of a wagon so had to tow a trailer. Took 6 people about 3 hours to set up. Awesome when it was up but sooooooooo not worth it! Swag takes 1 minute to roll out =]

A track for you guys to look at is Abbotts link trk,last time i was down it was a few years ago buthad some good steep bits with fair sized steps in it.
Back when i was 19 we went for a saturday arvo cruise,ended up staying on the side of the track all night with two broken cars,one rolled and the other broken front cv's and blown rear diff.
Had no blankets,swags nothing but being young we had BEER lol,was the longest and coldest night ever even though we had a fire.

Where it says Richmond Retreat.....From there heading south easterly direction is where the spots are....That track goes for miles with an abundance of places.

Stay safe guys! While I am not going as I was going to take the family to sheepyards and then to Craig's hut we have decided not to go. Reason being is so bloody dry, a fire could spark up at any time, I just will NOT take the risk of putting myself and my family in a situation. Being so remote in Sheepyards, not to mention where you guys are going. I think I will sit this one out.
I really hope someone going has some sort of fire plan to action just in case.

Go down the Track opposite the Pub,You'll see a "T" Junction with a sign "Comet Track" Go down that and you will run straight into us. Total of 3 Creek Crossings

Awesome country MR really need to try the high country atleast once in any future trips. unbelievable would best describe it,
all you read about it is true, God's Country mate

Those 3 creek crossings are the mighty goulbourn river well the start of it 1mtr wide, great for setting night lines in deeper holes.
you can jump across it in some spots, something to tell the grand kids

These guys are a great testament to what this forum stands for, with great advice before, during and after the tracks. They answered my questions and for my maiden voyage on easy to medium difficulty tracks i did them with ease and only up 1 section i was told by every else in the convoy to take the main track and not go up the " short cut" which you might get a couple of videos from the other guys if all you children behave lol. But over all the car behaved well, 1 of my side steps has some character now and my front number plate is a bit bent from the river crossings we did and there was a few at that. Thanks to every 1 there again, this would have to be the best Australia day i have ever had!!

Oh and before i forget again, there was a certain member there which i wont name ( i will leave it up to the him or others to name and shame haha) who i think was a bit overwhelmed by the superb scenery and may or may not have aroused while driving and was offering MANY, MANY, MANY MAN CUDLES TO EVERY for when they got back to camp not to mention every 3 mins stoping to get out of his car and "drain the lizard" more so to "feed the chickens" i reckon lmao!! I think when he gets back he might have to do some explaining to his wife!!! Hahaha

I didn't have a doubt just from driving many 4wds at work, you feel very comfortable and think you can drive thru walls in any patrol. I was going to when i was leaving but it was getting dark something for next time i guess
